"My career as a designer and craftsman began over twenty-five years ago with the inception of Blind Gee Guitars. After building more than forty instruments, I felt that I had explored all my ideas and I was looking for something else to satisfy my passion for the marriage of art and woodcraft. Inspiration struck while I was looking through some M. C. Escher drawings. For me a melding of art and function makes an object more interesting, so I started thinking about how I could incorporate the feeling of an Escher drawing into a lamp design. That lead to the first prototype of the KNOTA Table Lamp. After a very lengthy period refining the designs and meeting the unique engineering challenges they posed, I am very happy to be able to offer these creations and I'm sure they will bring you the same joy and wonder that they inspire in me."
Glenn Reither
Glenn Reither is the designer and craftsman behind Frescher Furniture.
For over 40 years, when not in the workshop, Glenn has been a professional musician, touring Australia and the world as a member of Little River Band and Icehouse and with renowned Australian artists such as Jon Stevens and Kate Ceberano.

Glenn's love of woodcraft and design began in 2010 with an extended foray into guitar building under the name Blind Gee Guitars. From humble beginnings, he developed his skills and designs and ultimately his unique guitars have featured on many recordings, television appearances and live shows. The renowned comedian Bill Bailey commissioned a guitar, built around a Bible, that has featured prominently in his tours.

Glenn has two very different workspaces. In one, he thrills huge crowds with his musical creativity. In the other, he creates a unique piece of functional illuminated art, just for you.
