I started out as a guitar designer and builder many years ago, and I have always loved the guitar as not just an instrument but also as a piece of art. Tensegrity tables achieve the seemingly impossible by balancing tension and compression. This is the first time that anyone has applied the principle of tensegrity to build a floating table using the form of a guitar.
